Position Overview:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor specializing in General Liability to become a key member of our esteemed team. We seek a committed professional who is passionate about the legal field and eager to contribute significantly to our firm. The selected candidate will oversee and manage all facets of general liability cases, including those related to medical malpractice, and will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our general liability practice. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Legal Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all phases of general liability cases from initiation to resolution, including trial representation if necessary.
2. Providing legal counsel and representation to clients on matters concerning general liability and medical malpractice.
3. Crafting and executing strategies for managing complex general liability cases effectively.
4. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and pleadings.
6. Representing the firm in court and before regulatory agencies.
7. Collaborating with fellow attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality legal service delivery.
8. Staying informed on laws, regulations, and industry trends pertinent to general liability and medical malpractice.
9. Engaging in business development efforts to attract new clients and expand the firm's general liability practice.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the relevant State Bar.
3. At least six years of experience as a practicing attorney, focusing on general liability and medical malpractice.
4. Proven success in managing and resolving complex general liability cases.
5. Exceptional skills in legal research, writing, and negotiation.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
8. High professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
