Job Title: Market Research/Customer Insights Analyst

About the Role:

Pacific Life is seeking a talented Market Research/Customer Insights Analyst to join our team in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha NE; Lynchburg, VA or remote for the right candidate (depending on location). This role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the life product intelligence function through comprehensive research and analysis of markets, customers, competition, and product mix.
  • Maintain benchmarking dashboards to compare competitive and sales metrics.
  • Conduct reverse engineering of competitor products and stress tests on new product designs.
  • Assist in conducting comprehensive competitive assessments and annuity deep-dive assessments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
  • College-level math skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Complex problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik and Tableau.
  • Experience with Turbo, Python, SQL, and Alteryx.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
