Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity

As a Physician Assistant in Cardiothoracic Surgery, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and providing patient care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan patient care in collaboration with the medical team
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with RNs, MDs, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in patient education and counseling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited PA program
- Minimum of five years of PA experience in critical care
- Current New York State Physician Assistant licensure
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Preferred Criteria:
- One year of experience as Thoracic Surgery preferred
- Proficient with patient care and basic ICU management of patients
- Bilingual is a plus
