Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Care Technician to join our team at Mille Lacs Health System. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support for clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rooming of clients, including vital signs and reception/clerical tasks
  • Reception/Clerical tasks, such as coordinating client referrals, scheduling appointments, and ordering supplies
  • Assisting with transfer and escort of patients within and outside the department
  • Performing and documenting phlebotomy, EKGs, and waived lab testing
  • Cleaning exam rooms
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • CPR certification
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Certification from a vocational program for nursing assistant or phlebotomy desirable
Work Environment

This is a Monday through Friday day shift position with occasional evening and Saturday morning rotation, as well as occasional holidays and inclement weather. The position may require long hours depending on patient need.
