Fort Worth Country Day Summer Camps: A Season of Growth and Development

Welcome to the Fort Wonder Summer Camps team As a dynamic and innovative organization, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our staff as Camp Administrators. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Site Director in delivering exceptional summer camp experiences for campers, families, and staff members. This includes providing administrative support, facilitating communication with camp families, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Site Director in planning and executing daily camp activities, including preparation and distribution of supplies
  • Support the development and implementation of programs and services that promote camper engagement and satisfaction
  • Facilitate communication with camp families through regular updates and notifications
  • Assist with the oversight of camper lunch periods and ensure the provision of healthy meal options
  • Lead camp operations, including maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Commitment to a summer schedule that may include evening and weekend events
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience managing groups of children and leadership experience in a summer camp setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references upon request
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Will spend significant portions of the day walking or standing
  • Subject to outside environmental conditions
