We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team in Shenandoah/Red Oak/Griswold, IA & Surrounding Area.

About the Role:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide direct resident care activities. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and opportunities for PRN work.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform direct resident care activities under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assist with patient evaluations, goal setting, and treatment planning
  • Implement treatment plans and provide patient education
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the state of practice
  • Experience in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow directions and policies
