At United Living Community, we are seeking a skilled Long Term Care Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dietary services team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review menus and plan food preparation to ensure that meals are prepared in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Inspect special diet trays to ensure that the correct diet is served to residents.
- Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
**Requirements:**
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must have COVID-19 vaccine or exemption.
