Fitness Instructor Aquatics

Pennock Hospital Health and Wellness Center strives to create a welcoming and dynamic environment for the community to improve their well-being. This role is responsible for designing, teaching, and instructing fitness classes held at a Spectrum Health wellness center or other facility. Instructor certification is required when applicable to the specialty area. May teach individual one-on-one classes or offsite classes as appropriate and directed. Employees are expected to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with each participant and communicate with customers and coworkers to ensure the highest level of service and customer experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days
• 2 years of relevant experience in instruction of the specific designated class area (preferred)
