About the Role:The Registered Nurse II will work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), providing care to critically ill children. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, research, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Current RN licensure in the District of Columbia.
- At least one year of experience in a pediatric ICU or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- PALS certification.
