Job Summary

Hudson River Housing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and services to our residents, ensuring a safe and welcoming living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support residents in their daily lives, providing guidance and advocacy as needed.
  • Conduct intake interviews and assessments to understand residents' needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, working closely with residents to resolve conflicts and challenges.
  • Monitor and maintain the physical property, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities team.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and communication with residents and staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about program developments and best practices.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our programs, providing feedback and suggestions for growth and development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; human services experience and administrative skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs and challenges faced by homeless and vulnerable populations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a plus.
