We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Resident Care Assistant to join our team at Dominion Senior Living. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will provide routine daily nursing care and services to support the care delivered to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal comfort activities and hygiene services, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, according to personalized care plans and daily assignments.
- Assist residents with daily routines and housekeeping tasks, such as straightening their room and removing soiled linens.
- Respond promptly to residents' emergency call signals and follow up with appropriate responses.
- Assist residents with transferring or moving to various areas within the community or to transportation vehicles.
- Take and record the vital signs of residents, if certified as a CNA.
- Maintain documentation that reflects wellness care provided, the resident's response to care, and disposition of each case.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a certification program for Nursing Assistants is preferred.
- Must successfully complete a CPR and First Aid course and maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Must obtain valid Continuing Education credits as required by the State of the community.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience, caregiver experience, or student nurse is preferred.
- A supportive and engaging work environment.
- The opportunity to earn an additional $1 per hour in compensation the first year, and additional annual increases based on performance ratings.
- Lucrative and exciting benefits, including time and a half on holidays, direct deposit, and shift differentials up to $1.00 more per hour.
