Job Summary

The Technical Training Specialist role will be responsible for designing, organizing, and planning orientation and other training programs for assigned employees. The Trainer will assess any training needs with employees or consultation with Managers. They must maintain accurate and complete records of TWC's customers, and TAB employees progress, performance, and development through individual training plans.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of employee progress, performance, and development.
  • Weekly communication with TWC Counselors, TAB Supervisors/Managers to ensure adherence to TWC contract and Computer Training Policy.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
  • Develop core and/or individualized lesson plans to establish clear objectives for training.
  • Provide one-on-one or group training in an orderly and professional manner.
  • Recommend outside training and software as needed to meet training goals.
  • Consistently review and evaluate curriculum to ensure it meets TWC standards and organizational training standards.
  • Promote safe, effective, and ethical learning environments. Comply with and assist other employees in understanding and complying with TAB policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years' experience in creating and presenting computer training programs to a non-technical audience.
  • Certified Microsoft trainer preferred but not required.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
