The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse at Alsana, you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily client services. This role involves client admissions and discharges, medication management, medical procedure oversight, and other key responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Assess client health and well-being daily, reporting concerns to the physician and documenting findings and interventions.
- Communicate nursing and care plan information to direct care staff, ensuring seamless hand-off communication.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to client care plans.
- Develop and maintain client treatment plans, participating in client education and leading groups as assigned.
- Audit and monitor controlled substances, recording information and monitoring medication management for step-down clients.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and clients, answering questions about medication changes, appointments, and health-related issues.
- Licensed RN in the state where the position is located, with BSN preferred.
- Two or more years' experience in an acute care or skilled nursing setting, with current CPR certification through an American Heart Association approved agency.
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
The hourly rate for this position is $40.00.
