Key Responsibilities- Building Code Review and Quality Control Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial buildings to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Prepare Written Reports: Prepare detailed written reports and electronic reports to document inspection findings and issue notices of correction as needed.
- Code Interpretation and Explanation: Explain and interpret building codes and regulations to clients and the public.
- Problem-Solving and Customer Service: Recognize, evaluate, and resolve unique problems or situations, while maintaining effective customer service relationships with clients and the public.
- Business Development: Assist the inspection management team with business development and growth initiatives.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.
- ICC Commercial Building Inspection Licenses: Hold ICC commercial building inspection licenses in all four disciplines: building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education and a valid State Driver's license with a clean driving record.
