Position Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing therapeutic relationships with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior-analytic services effectively. This includes the accurate collection of behavioral data, which encompasses A-B-C data, frequency counts, duration, latency, inter-response times, event recording, and interval-based recording. You will adhere to treatment plan objectives and interventions while seeking guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely and precise documentation of all services rendered
- Providing direct care to clients in both individual and group settings
- Collecting and recording data related to client behavior
- Communicating progress updates to clients, parents, and caregivers
- Accurate data collection including A-B-C, frequency, duration, and other relevant metrics
- Following treatment plans with sound judgment and consulting with supervisors as needed
- Working with a diverse client base throughout the state
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
- Successful completion of State and Federal Criminal Background Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
- Reliable transportation is essential
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations
- Capability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments
