- Lead a Team of Assemblers: Supervise a team of assemblers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Employees: Train new employees and develop training plans to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Communicate with Other Departments: Communicate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure that assembly operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Implement Process Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with Quality Initiatives: Assist with quality initiatives, such as conducting quality audits and implementing quality control measures.
- Lead Safety and Quality Meetings: Lead safety and quality meetings to ensure that employees are aware of and following safety and quality procedures.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent Diploma.
- Experience: 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of system software, mechanical drawings and designs, and ability to identify part discrepancies and write HFDs for corrections.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, and use hand tools and power tools.
