Job Overview:


The main responsibility of a hydraulic clamp truck operator is to skillfully maneuver the equipment, utilizing hydraulic clamps to lift and transport materials efficiently.

The operator must navigate the machinery in confined areas and adjust the clamps to securely grip and move materials.

The operator is tasked with relocating materials and stacking them in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
The following functions are essential to this role. Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor or manager as needed.


Ensure effective inventory management and accurate tracking of materials moved and stored, including details such as quantity and location.

Maintain a steady supply of paper stock for uninterrupted press operations.
Receive and unload diverse product types.
Accurately log all incoming products using the EDI System or the scan gun on the clamp truck.
Relocate materials efficiently and stack them safely.
Prepare and organize outgoing shipments.


Conduct daily maintenance checks and inspections (PIV Checksheet) to confirm the clamp truck is operational and fluids are adequately filled.

Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth warehouse operations.
Ensure that no products are damaged while in storage.
Document any damaged items, take photographs, and notify supervision.
Return all unused paper to inventory and store it correctly.
Adhere to FIFO (First In-First Out) practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 1 year of clamp truck experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with standup order pickers.
Strong troubleshooting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience in the industry is advantageous.

Physical Demands:
Frequent long hours, including 12-hour shifts.
Ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly.
Willingness to work various shifts.
Hearing protection and gloves are required.
