Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Team Leader will oversee the daily operations of our imaging department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of radiology technologists in performing diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and presentation of images for timely interpretation
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Performing sterile technique in procedural tasks and participating in quality control measurements

Leadership and Team Management

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, including:

  • Demonstrating expertise in radiology technology and staying up-to-date on industry developments
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Education and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in Radiological Technology or a related field (Applied Associates of Science degree required)
  • Current registry in Radiologic Technology and certification in their area of specialization (e.g., CT, MRI, mammography)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology (preferred qualifications vary depending on position level)
