Typical Responsibilities of a PV Installer:
As a PV Installer, you will collaborate with fellow crew members under the guidance of a crew leader to safely install solar arrays on various buildings in the metro Atlanta area. Your duties may also include installing ground-mounted systems and performing trenching and roof repairs. Daily tasks involve loading materials onto the truck, assessing job site safety, laying out the array, and installing the racking system and panels. At the end of each day, you will ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for and the job site is clean.
Key Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Preference for candidates with roofing or construction experience
- A strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Enjoyment of outdoor work and comfort with heights
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet deadlines
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights while adhering to safety protocols
- Capability to drive a company vehicle for extended periods
- Willingness to stand for long durations
