At Goodwill of Delaware and Delaware County, we are seeking a highly skilled Training Contracts Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in developing cost reimbursement and performance contracts with outside contractors and the Division of Employment and Training.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for negotiating and developing contracts, supervising negotiation teams, and acting as technical advisors to subcontractors. The successful candidate will also identify managerial and operational problems, develop corrective action plans, and provide interpretation of laws, guidelines, and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and develop cost reimbursement and performance contracts with outside contractors and the Division of Employment and Training.
  • Supervise negotiation teams and act as technical advisors to subcontractors during contract periods.
  • Identify managerial and operational problems and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate contract management effectiveness through on-site review and analysis of subcontractor performance and operations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in contract management and administration. You should also be able to work effectively in a team environment and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $62,400 per year, which includes additional compensation based on overtime. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) retirement savings plan.
