Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Foreman Electrician to join our Energy Services Division at Alamon Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
  • Bend and install EMT, PVC, IMC, and GRC up to 2 inches.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems.
  • Order and manage needed equipment and/or materials.
  • Interact with and support Alamon team members from other divisions.
  • Effectively communicate with all members of the project team.
Requirements
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no DUI/DWIs within the past 5 years.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States.
  • Must be responsible and have a team-oriented mindset.
  • Possess and maintain a Journeyman License (Preferred).
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Experience with underground and site work.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • The ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and work in awkward positions for several hours at a time is required.
  • Must be able to work during inclement weather.
Work Environment

The work environment includes active construction sites and environmentally controlled indoor sites. The employee may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume to loud and all employees will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices.

This position requires working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather scenarios including hot, cold, and in finished and occupied buildings.

Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
