About the Role
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team, responsible for operating MRI scanners and ensuring that procedures produce quality images and information for healthcare professionals to make accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position and prepare patients for exams according to procedure type
- Perform procedures, assess patients, and respond to their needs as required
- Complete documentation for each study performed
- Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
- Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during clinical rotations
- Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure high-quality procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course completion
- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
