Mixologist

Malco Theatres is a family-owned and operated movie theatre chain that has remained a staple in the industry for over a century.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mixologist to join our team at Malco Theatres.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our patrons.

You will oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, ensuring that our bar area remains well-stocked and organized at all times.

Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting money from customers for drinks prepared and served.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing excellent customer service and remaining attentive to patrons' needs.

2. Receiving orders from patrons and waitstaff.

3. Maintaining the bar/café area and keeping it clean and organized.

4. Keeps bar stocked with supplies.

5. Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.

6. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.

7. Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.

8. Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for this role.

You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Location: Malco Theatres is based in Oxford, MS, and the successful candidate will be required to work at our Oxford location.
