TLC Nursing Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to clients, including administering medications, treatments, and other modalities as ordered by the attending physician.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of client and family circumstances, communicating changes and needs to the physician and Nursing Supervisor.
- Initiate preventive, rehabilitative, and therapeutic nursing measures, teaching safety precautions, medication actions, and interactions, and appropriate health care measures.
- Document accurately and submit timely nursing notes and reports, according to agency and facility standards.
- Work in cooperation with facility administration and personnel, maintaining current skills, knowledge, and practice-specific information by completing continuing education programs.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed practical nurse with a valid current nursing license under the State Board of Nursing.
- Must have a minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting.
- Must possess and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
- Must be of mature and responsible character, with good observational nursing judgment and effective communication skills.
- Must be of good physical and mental health, able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
