Job Summary

At BrightSpring Health Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to join our team. As a key member of our home health care team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including:

  • Providing personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients
  • Taking vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assisting patients with ambulation and exercise
  • Assisting patients with self-administration of medication
  • Meeting the safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly
  • Assessing and reporting on patient condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse
  • Keeping patient living areas clean and orderly
  • Ensuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Completion of Certified Nurse Aide/State Tested Nurse Aide training and current licensure to practice in state of operation
  • 1 year CNA/STNA experience required
  • Experience in home health or a similar setting preferred
  • Self-directing with ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
