Job Overview

A prestigious role at Alluvionic seeks an exceptional Critical Operations Communications Strategist. This position requires a highly skilled professional to develop and implement effective communication plans for world-wide astronaut rescue operations.


Responsibilities:
  • Communication Planning: Design and document comprehensive communication strategies for recovery operations, ensuring seamless voice communication between recovery ships, crew modules, and survival radios.
  • Cyber Security Liaison: Collaborate with the information assurance officer to support mission communications security, attending regular meetings to ensure integrated and secure voice communication.
  • Hardware Management: Assist with hardware inventory management, upgrades, and help desk ticket management for communication systems.
  • Application Maintenance: Maintain and optimize communication applications such as SharePoint and Teams to enhance overall system performance.
  • COMSEC Equipment Custodian: Ensure proper management of communication security equipment, adhering to strict protocols to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Communication Coordination: Schedule communication linkages with the Eastern Range and mission partner communication nodes, enhancing line-of-sight and over-the-horizon communication capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Currently qualified as a DoD Cyber Security Liaison (formerly Information Assurance Officer) and Computer Support Administrator.
  • Prior experience working line-of-sight and over-the-horizon communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present briefings, papers, and presentations to senior leaders.
  • Able to work independently to plan and complete assignments on time, producing thorough and grammatically correct products.
  • Analytical skills to develop and articulate recommended plans and objectives that lead to resolution within existing policy or instruction guidance.
  • The ability to conceptualize, develop, and present mission-specific training or orientation courses for military personnel.
  • A strong focus on producing high-quality products and recommendations consistent with a fiscally constrained mission environment.

Salary and Benefits:
