The primary responsibilities involve performing maintenance tasks to ensure the uninterrupted operation of one or more facilities and the equipment within.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all members, guests, and staff at the Gold's Gym locations.
- Conduct repairs and routine preventative maintenance on all cardiovascular and strength training equipment according to established schedules, as well as addressing any urgent repairs as they arise.
- Execute general maintenance and repair tasks related to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC. Provide assistance to staff in these areas under the guidance of the Club Manager, depending on the complexity of the task.
- Document and report all completed work on a daily basis.
- Inspect electrical systems, including steam and sauna units, televisions, audio systems, lighting, and air conditioning units, and perform repairs as necessary.
- Assess and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, toilets, and sinks.
- Carry out painting and finishing tasks for furniture and structures as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems.
This role requires an individual with proven skills in basic carpentry and mechanical repairs, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in the fitness sector. A solid understanding of equipment operation is also essential.
