Role Description
We are seeking skilled Journey Level Refrigeration/Pipe Fitter Installers with substantial experience in HVAC/R system installations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the field. Responsibilities will include the installation and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the installation of refrigeration systems according to client specifications, relevant building codes, and industry standards.
- Install pipe hangers and perform fitting and soldering of copper piping to refrigeration units and cases.
- Install cooler box coils and set up supermarket refrigeration systems for both new and existing installations.
- Bring a minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction sector, particularly in commercial refrigeration.
- Hold an EPA Certification.
- Demonstrate proficiency in copper brazing and supermarket remodeling projects.
- Maintain a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.
- Exhibit knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping for refrigeration equipment.
- Possess plumbing and pipe fitting expertise.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively; strong mechanical skills are essential.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as directed by the supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and codes.
- Interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine optimal installation methods.
- Conduct system tests to verify proper functionality.

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
