Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Preferred Healthcare Staffing. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for acquiring and analyzing sonographic images from ultrasound sessions, preparing patients for procedures, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams to produce accurate images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Record and analyze sonographic images, identifying normal and abnormal results for interpretation by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical notes and imaging data.
Requirements:
  • Valid state registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • 2 years of ultrasound experience required within the last 5 years.
