Kitchen Associate

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Orange Hill Restaurant, an upscale dining and special event establishment known for its breathtaking views, culinary excellence, and exceptional service.

Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience, combining a sophisticated ambiance with delectable cuisine. Located uniquely on the hills of Orange County, we provide sweeping views of Catalina Island, Downtown Los Angeles, Disneyland's magical firework show, and our beautiful California coastline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cooking elements meal preparation during a shift, including washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, slicing, and storing items in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper rotation of all products to par, labeling, day dotting, and signing all products, obtaining Chef/Manager signature as required.
• Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout the shift.
• Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station, breaking down and cleaning station thoroughly every day.

• A competitive hourly salary range of $16 - 19 per hour.

Requirements:

• High school or one year similar experience preferred.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.
• Must wear approved manufacturer-certified slip-resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
