Your Responsibilities:
• Execute programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance for HVAC control systems, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control components.
• Address service and warranty inquiries utilizing Johnson Controls' configuration and commissioning tools, alongside various hand tools, including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing devices.
• Deliver front-line technical support and repair assistance through effective communication with clients.• Provide recommendations for system repairs or updates and assist in proposing solutions to clients.
• Become part of a growing team of top-tier technicians while advancing your career within a premier global organization.
How You Will Achieve This:• Load software for Johnson Controls field and network-level controllers.
• Conduct commissioning and system diagnostics for all controller levels and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators) while completing all necessary commissioning documentation.
• Keep management and clients informed about job progress and any issues.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic testing equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
• Engage in company-sponsored and self-initiated training to maintain the highest level of knowledge and skills.
• Interact with clients to thoroughly understand their systems and requirements.
• Communicate with clients upon arrival and before departing the work site.
• Adhere to all safety standards and participate in required safety training, prioritizing employee and subcontractor safety.
Qualifications:
Essential:
• Strong comprehension of HVAC systems, sequences, and applications.
• Proven technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical disciplines.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters.
• Solid understanding of personal computer usage.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• (Depending on location, special licensing requirements may apply for the mounting and termination of low-voltage devices.)
