We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care Charge Nurse to join our team at Covenant Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership in our emergency department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records and reports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Specialty certification (for promotion to RN IV) upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
