Job Overview

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Osceola Medical Center. As a Chief Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Acts, delegates appropriate care to other team members, and follows the Standards of Nursing Care while delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Critical Thinking and Communication: Demonstrates critical thinking skills and communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient team personnel, and develops and maintains effective working relationships with patients, family members, and co-workers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Graduate of accredited school of nursing with current WI RN licensure in good standing; prefer 6 months of acute care experience; new graduates accepted.
  • Certifications and Licensures: Current BLS, ACLS, PEARS, and NRP certification or willing to obtain.
Work Environment

The typical schedule for this position is 6:00 pm - 6:30 am with every 3rd weekend rotation.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
