Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated professional to join our team as a Critical Environment Data Center Technician with a focus on Electrical Systems. This role will involve performing basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment within the data center. The successful candidate will also assist in providing emergency monitoring and response to various abnormal conditions with supervision, utilizing emergency operating procedures (EOPs).

Responsibilities:
Take daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.). Ability to follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities. Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work and comply with all physical security procedures and policies. Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration. Support electrical infrastructures throughout the data center campus, ranging from a single, large-capacity facility to several smaller ones.

Requirements:
Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields. Hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification. Have a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code. Experience with Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdown of 1 source. Critical Load is still supplied through one source (N). Experience with PDU shutdown for power meter replacement. Experience with building management systems (EPMS), system control panel preventative maintenance, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance. Plusses: Qualified Electrical Worker and previous data center experience.
