Job Summary:

Affinity Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties in students.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment programs to address identified needs.
  • Provide counseling to students and their families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.
  • Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
  • Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
  • Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
  • Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.
  • Refer students to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment.
  • CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License.
  • Minimum requirement: Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
