Piping/HVAC Designer

We are seeking a skilled Drafter or Designer with a strong background in mechanical/piping or HVAC systems to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our multidisciplinary project teams, you will be responsible for developing detailed mechanical/piping or HVAC designs using relevant drafting software, collaborating with Civil, Structural, and MEP engineers to create integrated design solutions, and ensuring designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.

• Develop detailed mechanical/piping or HVAC designs using relevant drafting software.
• Collaborate with Civil, Structural, and MEP engineers to create integrated design solutions.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project teams, contributing expertise across various engineering disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.
• Assist in the coordination of project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field.
• Strong background in mechanical/piping or HVAC drafting/design.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Experience in Civil/Structural or MEP engineering environments is a plus.
• Willingness to work across discipline lines and contribute to projects outside your primary field.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn new skills as needed.
