About the Role:
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is a vital member of our team at Briar Hill Health Campus, providing general non-certified routine services to our residents. As an RCA, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents, while also maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assist with all aspects of meal service, including transportation of residents to and from the dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
- Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned and maintain communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
- Provide great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
- Assist clinical staff to make residents comfortable, including checking sitting position, hydration, and passing.
- Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Education: High School / GED
- Experience: 0-1 years
- Licenses and Certifications: None Required
