Job Title: Construction Trades Educator
About the Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our faculty team as a Construction Trades Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching assigned classes in Masonry, advancing students' knowledge and application of course material, and promoting a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned classes according to department goals and objectives, and policies established by the Board of Trustees.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other reports.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Participate in staff development activities, professional associations, presentations, publications, and similar activities that enhance individual and educational profession growth.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success and well-being.
Requirements:
- A baccalaureate degree in the teaching discipline or an associate degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
- A minimum of two years of work experience in the field within the last five years; five years or more experience is preferred.
Salary and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
