Job Summary

Staff Today Inc is seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team on a local contract basis in California. As a Recreation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic recreation services to clients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation plans to meet the unique needs of clients.
  • Provide recreation services in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community centers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective recreation plans.
  • Lead recreation groups and activities to promote socialization, skill-building, and overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
  • Current certification in Recreation Therapy (CRT) or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Recreation Therapy or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors.
  • Knowledge of recreation therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
