Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, administering radiocontrast agents, and evaluating CT scans to determine their technical quality.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning them correctly and explaining the procedure
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine their technical quality and ensure they meet medical standards
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation and maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system to manage patient images and records
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT National certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
