The Role

In this pivotal role as an early engineer, you will collaborate closely with the founders to develop the product from inception. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a full-stack environment and is eager to learn, particularly in utilizing React and GraphQL to create our primary analytics platform.

We are in search of a driven and personable senior engineer with a track record of independently managing intricate projects and crafting scalable, maintainable software. As advocates for developer productivity analytics, we prioritize process efficiency and code integrity. Despite our small size, we strive to minimize technical debt and seek someone who can guide us in achieving this objective.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Independently design, implement, and validate features within the minware application
  • Collaborate with product managers and clients to define the capabilities of minware
  • Architect and design new system components
  • Oversee a backlog focused on reducing technical debt and enhancing internal efficiencies
  • (Optional) Participate in interviews and assist in the recruitment of additional engineers
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex full-stack applications
  • Understanding of high-quality coding principles, including continuous integration and functional programming
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with clients
  • Familiarity with agile or lean project management methodologies
  • Experience with core technologies (Postgres, Apollo GraphQL, React) or similar is preferred
  • Knowledge of infrastructure (AWS, Terraform) and UI design (HTML, CSS, Figma) is advantageous but not mandatory
