Position Overview:
The role of Academic Faculty - Physician Assistant is a full-time position focused on the educational development and clinical training of future Physician Assistants. Our institution is dedicated to upholding the values of compassion, excellence, humility, integrity, justice, teamwork, and wholeness.
Key Responsibilities:
The Academic Faculty member will play a crucial role in the organization and structuring of the academic curriculum in alignment with established educational standards. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the planning, execution, and assessment of the professional Physician Assistant program.
- Delivering lectures and providing supervision and instruction to students in clinical environments.
- Performing administrative tasks as required.
- Engaging in additional duties as necessary to support the program.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is mandatory. Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of two years of professional experience or teaching in the relevant field, or an appropriate Doctoral Degree.
- Licensure or certification relevant to the teaching area as a Physician Assistant.
- Current certification through the NCCPA and a valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Commitment to maintaining clinical practice.
Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proficiency in current educational technologies and media.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and positively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Additional Information:
This position is classified as a regular full-time role with a day shift schedule.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between USD 95,555.20 and USD 135,033.60.
