As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals, including assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' mental health status, including diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide acute and long-term psychiatric care to individuals, including daily assessment and development of a plan of care
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing, consult with other healthcare professionals, and make referrals as needed
  • Prescribe medications, including antipsychotics, and monitor patients' response to treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with ability to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
