Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring that patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate with veterinarians and other hospital staff to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
  • Process payments and handle billing and insurance claims.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, surgeries, and other hospital procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal care setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
