Job Title: CVOR Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our dedicated team at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CVOR Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the OR Service Leader in ensuring unit compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide therapeutic care in a holistic, evidence-based environment that produces excellent patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
  • Oversee the provision of care in a fast-paced CVOR environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-year experience as a Surgical Technologist in cardiac surgery required.
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist via Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start.
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.
  • One of the following Surgical Technologist certifications required Upon start: CST via NBSTSA or TS-C via NCCT.
