Job Title: Radiologic TechnologistPosition Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to work full-time during daytime hours from Monday to Friday. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality imaging services under the guidance of our Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with established Performance Standards, Policies, and Behaviors.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for various imaging examinations.
  • Generate high-quality technical images and review completed studies.
  • Assist medical professionals during imaging procedures.
  • Conduct equipment quality assurance and manage supply orders.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in workspaces and equipment.
  • Process images or create CDs as necessary.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks and provide clinical guidance to students.
  • Engage professionally and courteously with both staff and patients.
  • Inform patients about the imaging procedures and deliver care tailored to their needs.
  • Adapt to flexible duties and hours based on operational requirements.
  • Eligible for additional compensation upon obtaining specialty certification.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Graduate from an accredited radiography program.
  • Possession of NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit, along with ARRT-RT and/or registered RT (R) certification.
  • Completion of ongoing education requirements.
  • Preferred completion of DOH IV certification or orientation.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Commitment to the radiation dose pledge for Image Gently and Image Wisely through ACR.
