Job Title: MRI Technologist Travel Position

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Auburn, New York.

Job Description:

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. You will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, utilizing your expertise and judgment to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
