Job Summary

The Rental Car Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of rental cars. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to enter the workforce or return to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Responsibilities
  • Cleans and maintains rental cars by vacuuming, cleaning windows, wiping down interior, and utilizing air freshener.
  • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners to prevent damage.
  • Removes stains from carpet and other interior surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Gathers and empties trash.
  • Monitors building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.
  • Drives vehicles while performing cleaning work.
  • Notifies management concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to the facility.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
  • No experience required, and on-the-job training is provided.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of similar work experience.
