Job Summary

The Facilities Assistant provides essential support to the maintenance and upkeep of assigned areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. This role is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Operate power equipment and use chemical cleaners safely and effectively.
  • Notify management of minor or major repairs, additions, or maintenance needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Clean and maintain interior and exterior areas, including windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Wash and replace blinds, and gather and empty trash.
  • Perform seasonal tasks, such as raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • No experience required, with on-the-job training provided.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience.
  • 1 year of similar work experience.
