Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to validate the quality of deliverables, utilizing your analytical skills to test, assess, and provide constructive feedback to align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute test scripts using Katalon Studio, ensuring a smooth transition from previous testing tools.
2. Collaborate with teams to develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and plans.
3. Log defects and create test cases utilizing HP Quality Center and/or Jira.
4. Address assigned testing and defect issues, monitor testing progress, and communicate updates to management.
5. Assist in the planning and estimation of testing efforts across multiple projects.
6. Conduct Regression and Functional testing during various deployment phases including Testing, UAT, and Production environments.
7. Work closely with developers in an Agile environment to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in executing test scripts, particularly with Katalon Studio.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as HP Quality Center and/or Jira.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, specifically within 2-week sprint cycles.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and identify relevant testing stories.
- Excellent communication skills to convey testing status to clients and team members.
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility with two days a week onsite.
